PRINCESS MARGARET SHOWHOME | BELIEVE IT CONQUER CANCER

Cancer is a horribly, frightening disease.  Everyone of us knows someone that has been affected by this disease.  On a personal note, I have known many and I was diagnosed this April with Cancer.  When I received the news from my Specialist, for a moment I was completely paralyzed.  I just couldn't believe my ears or what was happening. I was so very scared.  I had surgery in May and I am well now and Cancer free.  My care was outstanding and I am so grateful each and every day for the amazing medical team that I had and the advances in research made possible by donations and lotteries such as the Princess Margaret Lotteries.

From the Princess Margaret Foundation Website.

"The BILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE is a 5-year initiative to secure $1 Billion to revolutionize cancer care by creating a new gold standard and is the largest single fundraising campaign in the history of Canadian healthcare!"

"Thanks to your support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre lotteries, we are making radiation therapy more personalized, and therefore more effective and less toxic for cancer patients around the world. Personalized Cancer Medicine includes all of our efforts to detect cancer earlier, diagnose cancer more precisely, target cancer without damaging healthy tissue, and supporting patients and their families throughout the emotional cancer journey."

This year’s 7,500 sq ft Welcome Home Sweepstakes Oakville Showhome for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation was designed by my favourite and world-renowned Interior Designer Brian Gluckstein.  I have followed Brian for 20 + years and absolutely adore his luxurious, refined, elegant and sophisticated design style. This home features both classic and modern design elements.

It simply doesn't get any better!  Enjoy
